电动叉车蓄电池在充放电过程中，电解液中的水会因为电解和蒸发而逐渐减少，导致电解液面下降。如果不及时补充的话，有可能缩短蓄电池的使用寿命，应及时补充蒸馏水。切忌用饮用纯净水代替，因为纯净水中含有多种微量元素，对蓄电池会造成不良影响。添加电解液或水时要注意，电解液高过极板1015毫米即可；有两条红线的蓄电池，电解液不得超过上红线。电解液太满会从蓄电池盖小孔中溢出。一旦流到蓄电池正、负两极之间，就会形成回路自放电。遇此情况就应将电解液擦掉，或用开水冲洗。加电解液时若有东西不慎掉入，千万不能用金属物去捞，应用木棒夹出杂质；如用铁丝或铜丝去捞，金属分子会在硫酸的腐蚀下进入蓄电池形成自放电而损坏蓄电池。车辆停止运行若超过20天，应当拆卸电池的负极电线，以免发生漏电事故。

If the vehicle stops running for more than 20 days, the negative wire of the battery should be removed to avoid leakage accident.
