效率：当零件磨损时，就会致使效率降低。气缸部分发生磨损，会影响发动机效率，根据磨损具体情况决定是否对某些零件修换。

修复经济性：在保证修理质量的前提下，修理费用与修后使用寿命的比值低于换后新零件的制造（或外购）费用与换后新零件使用寿命比值。

季件因磨摄而不能完成预定使用功能，比如：离合器丧失传递动力；液压件未达到预定压力；凸轮配气系统不能保持设置运动规律。若出现这些情况，就要及时对零部件予以更换或修复。
